What if pokemon were real?

The dreams of thousands of children revolve around this very question. This was true for Cashe as well, but not anymore. He had grown up, got married; he had a life. Unfortunately for him, that childhood dream was about to come true.

Out for groceries one second, in the familiar yet uncanny world of pokemon the next, Cashe is lost and alone in a world he barely understands. Join him, as he searches for home.

Content warnings are there just in case, if my story actually qualifies for them, I would be surprised.

Story takes place decades after the start of Ash's pokemon journey, so there will be familiar faces, but they will have small roles. Expect mostly original characters.
