John had spent years preparing for an apocalypse. Grid down? No problem. Massive cyberattack? Easy peasy. Nuclear War? Hah! Zombies? Pfft! Or so he thought.
Unfortunately the apocalypse he got was not one he could have foreseen. The System just wants soldiers and if you can't get volunteers then conscription is the next best thing.
Now his anti-social nature puts him at a disadvantage as he and his daughter need to navigate strange new abilities, make new friends and fight side by side with them as they try to avoid being culled by the System.
