Ferret, a hapless goblin, is tired of being an expendable arrow catcher for more powerful races. He decides he is going to do what no other goblin has done and become a wizard. A chance discovery on a battlefield sets him on the path to become the greatest wizard the world has ever seen, assuming he survives.

Along the way he will make both friends, and enemies. He will explore dark ruins and dungeons in search of treasure, and discover secrets beyond imagining.
