Russell lived a quiet life, doing all the normal things a modern society demanded of him; a steady career, a small group of close friends, and enough hobbies to distract him from how vacuous living had become. Within the Framework, almost anything is possible. It empowers the animus of all sapient life--their Soul-form--with Mana to surpass the limits of the physical world, and presents them with challenges to overcome so that they might Ascend to the ranks of Immortality and beyond. Creatures thought to be only myths or legends from old fairy tales are made real, and humanity is tasked with adapting to--and overcoming--them. It provides guidance and answers to age old answers, pushing any who survive Initiation onto the path for a glorious Golden Age. But there are questions it will not (or perhaps cannot) answer...why was the Framework created? What purpose does it serve? And is it truly as benevolent as it would try to seem?

Join Russell as he accumulates the power necessary to secure a future for himself and others, and seeks out the truth behind the Initiation and the Framework as a whole.
