Navik, a meticulous merc, has always been a careful male. He lives by the Plan. This rule went for everything from preparing his evening meal to, say, going deep undercover to expose and dismantle a poaching ring. But when the job goes awry and he ends up the accidental kidnapper of a very scared human - Lucy - he finds himself curiously drawn to her.
