Rough pants were heard as a man with a sickly complex was breathing heavily. He was the most renowned thief in this era, he stole from countless Gods, Demons, and Buddhas and still lived to see the day. The reason he was breathing so heavily was because he encountered an Emperor's Tomb and he thought that it would be an easy task to loot the corpse and flee but the moment he entered the tomb he was unable to escape, even with his godly space bending skill he was trapped here.

The monsters in the tomb were the strongest enemies he had ever encountered, and he wondered what would happen if they escaped this tomb, and he knew the answer. Most of the humans outside would die, because these monsters were at the peak of the hierarchy. The only reason he was still alive was because he wasn't good at fighting, so he traded fighting with fleeing and hiding. Some called him a rat that only knew how to fear the strong and bully the weak, but he took pride in it, because he was still alive today because of his personality.

As he stared at the door with mysterious engraving on it, he went on his knee and started praying.

"Gods, Buddhas, Demons, please take mercy on me, I know I've done countless misdeeds but please take pity on me, if there is a shit item behind this door, I will really cry tears of blood."

As he finished praying, he pushed open the door. Inside the door was a room it was mainly empty except for a floating item in the middle. It was bloody red bandages, they looked like they were meant to wrap around a human like a mummy. As Romulus was about to curse this tomb's ancestor, the bandage flew toward him at lightning speed. He tried to use his skills, but he realized he couldn't use anything.

As Romulus was being wrapped around by the red bandages, he heard a monotone voice.

[Host found, initiating Heavenly Thief System.]

"Wha-, what Heavenly Thief System?"

As Romulus was being constricted, he was confused he never heard of something like this before.

[Host will find out soon enough, but System has found that body isn't compatible with the System, so System will forcefully modify Host's body. Please prepare for the pain.]

As Romulus heard the last sentence he was about to say no, he felt thousands of pains attacking his body, he prayed for death this was the worst pain he had ever experienced in his life.

"CURSE YOU SYSTEM!!!!"

As he screamed out his last words he blacked out.
