Melissa was a humble blacksmith, young, red of hair and fire of heart. She lives in Monarch, the first true city, home to the first true king, Arthur Kingsborn. After long last of honing her craft and preparing for this day, Arthur Kingsborn, king of the east, and Pilot of Monarch, needed a new sword. Melissa felt that this was her day, where she would finally succeed where others had failed. She thought this, right up until the point where the king used her sword to cut off her brother's head, right before her eyes. Now, after being given a second chance, Melissa must learn to survive in the deep underbelly of the city, fighting through schemers and killer alike, all with a false smile plastered on her broken lips.

Medieval, action filled low/no magic fantasy, violence aplenty, where lying and deceiving are the keys to success, and only those willing to spill blood will ever live to see the end.
