When death comes knocking unexpectedly, James Erickson is met with the cold hard truth that his life is over, and there's nothing he can do to get it back.

As he reminisces on the unfortunate accident in a void of whiteness, James hears the voice of someone that wishes to give him a second chance.

"Do you wish to try again at life, regardless of what you may be reborn as?" the voice had said to him.

As a deadman, James had no choice. If he was given the opportunity to live once again, who was he to say no?

So he accepted. Despite not knowing who or what he would be reincarnated as, he took the chance to live once more.

Little did he know that his second chance at life would be in the body of the king of monsters, and that the person he once was would cease to exist.

This is the story of how a young man starts over at life as a Vampire named Vlad.

This is my first attempt at making my writing public so all feedback would be appreciated. The story will be updated daily with chapters ranging between 1200-1800 words. I will try my best to keep up with the daily posts but there are bound to be days where life gets the best of me and I'm unable to.
