"I am an A.I. who wishes to reside within you. Is that too difficult to understand?"

Hiraine wakes up in the steampunkish 'Anchor World' with large gaps in his memory and a letter somehow sent by himself. As he gets used to life in this strange fantastical world, he meets a spirit which refers to herself as an A.I. called 'Euqa' who helps unravel his fogged up past. However this only helps him realize one thing. His life is merely a thread that is deeply intertwined in a patchwork of other lives and the mysteries surrounding two worlds.
