Dren is the leader of the Restistance. He's pledged his life to fight the evil that infected his country under the guise of a savior. Dren is going to save the Vealand. He will be the hero that saves his people. He will be the one to finally kill the imposter before he destroys their nation...

That was what was suppossed to happen. Except it didn't. Dren fails. In a last ditch effort before he dies he tries to send his memories into the Emperor's Inquisitor to carry on the fight.

He fails in that too. His memories go out into the void, landing in the two most unlikely targets for his magic. Now it's up to Aris Ravenscroft and Kestrel, two people worlds apart, to save Vealand from a monster disguised as a hero.

Notice, this is a High Fantasy story, there are no LitRPG elements and no Leveling Up. Closest thing is a character training in martial arts the good old fashion way of getting his butt kicked by a master.
