--Short Synopsis--

Carter can see the future with his genetically altered left eye. However, there had been only one episode until this day, so he was labelled as a Fiasco of the Orphanage. Many researchers used Fiascos for experiments all over the world, and paid high prices to buy them. After living his life as a caretaker, someone who already knows his secret reaches out to him. Stop the Mass Cyborg Project; that's all the man asks in exchange for information on his sister, dead or alive. But Carter gets reeled into the political upheaval of the Zeas nation, only to find himself trapped between the two power factions.

The 2040 meteor crash had left almost half of the earth inhabitable. The population pressure due to the immigration of almost half of the population was stretching nature's limits to the extreme. Desertification was accelerating at an unimaginable rate, and large-scale pandemics had plagued the existence of humans. The laws imposed on the immigrants had paved the way for war between the two factions, resulting in innumerable deaths. The dire situation showed no signs of improvement for almost four years, and the rations were depleting faster with each passing day.

Zeas nation had managed to stay steadfast in this race for survival. After surviving an extensive war, the military had grown apart from the government, thereby pacifying the general populace's unrest. The borders of the nation had been closed to the outsiders at an early date, so the number of immigrants in the nation was only a handful. Much of the government's efforts were inclined towards scientific research for political and personal gains.

As a result, the National Society of Artificial Intelligence had discovered a way to implant the human brain into an artificial medium, thus allowing a human to survive with electric impulses and chemical nutrition. But the implementation of this project was proving to be a gigantic hurdle for the government due to the incessant opposition by organizations unknown. But there was one unanswered question that beleaguered everyone's mind: Will this project be a boon or a bane?
