Born an orphan, Leora is raised in foster care causing trauma that leaves her to suffer from anxiety and PTSD. Entering into college she longs to put her past behind her, but dreams of another life and world haunt her. Mocking her with a life full of magic and the love of a mother that she has never known.

On a study abroad trip, Leora learns that she is in fact the reborn daughter of Merlin and the Lady of the lake and that no one is who they think or say they are. Leora must accept who she is before the heroes and villains of the past clash putting those she loves in danger.
