My take on the isekai and harem genres.
When Alexander is in the bookstore one day he spots the face of the girl he loved when he was thirteen. The problem is, she's been dead for six years. Alex tries to catch up to her, but she vanishes, leaving behind a strange book called "A Vision of the Starlit Empire."
After reading the book, Alex starts having dreams wherein he is transported to the world from the novel: a world where there is no sun, but so many stars shine in the sky that night is day. In this strange world, humans are rare, and all manner of fantastical creatures abound. Most importantly of all, Alex comes to believe that the girl he loved so long ago might be here too. Of course, if he wants to be with her he'll have to reject the advances of a great many beautiful women in the Starlit Empire, women who consider him an exotic, masculine beauty.
And the dreams are so vivid that he suspects they may not be mere dreams after all.

Throughout this story, readers will be asked to vote in a poll on who is the "Best Girl" from among the hero's possible love interests. The one who gets the most votes for "Best Girl" will be the canon love interest at the end.
