Azaad is a sub-continent of myths and legends, a golden crown for many conquerors to raise high.

But their reign never lasts.

Each time the crown slips, tragedies strike. Loyalties shift, lands stagnate and wars loom. Twenty years on, the situation hasn't improved.

With a rebel alliance reduced to tatters and his own grandfather captured, Bhagat drowns in a seemingly bottomless pond, a culmination of his many failures. Yet Bhagat awakens to find that he's changed, a new destiny slowly unveiling that might be enough to turn over his misfortune and, in the process, reclaim his birthright.

But can he bring stability at home when the land's in dire need of change, intrigues lurk within dark corners and his enemies circle around him, brewing a new storm that may very well cost his people their homeland?
