Kid had managed to survive 18 years in dying world. She'd done anything and everything she needed to just to last one more day. However, as she lay collapsed in a dirty alley, trying to work up the courage to put a bullet through her skull before the bite turned her into one of them , she couldn't help but feel relieved. At least it would all be over soon.

Suddenly there was a flash, bright lights blinding her. Here ears popped and she felt herself getting tossed around, flying through the air. She was getting pressed in on all sides, as if she was getting squeezed through a tube.

It only lasted a second before it was over. When she next opened her eyes, she was greeted was in the middle of a forest. In front of her was some guy aiming a bow and arrow of all things at her.

Well fuck.
