Asher is a man with admirable medical and fighting skills, as a result of his past he has shut himself out, suffering from 'Acute Chronic Insomnia' which he combats with strong drugs about once a month to knock himself out, his mind is slipping him, and his locked away emotions twist and coil under the surface, imprisoned.

Throughout his journies in the post-postapocalyptic Europe, he heads north, shaping and being shaped by the people who he interacts with.
