"Your work is finally over. Was this the 99th time?"

A gentle voice echoed the void.

A ball of black light, much darker than the void itself, floated at the vast emptiness.

"The end of this world is also the beginning of a new one."

An eerie voice came from that ball.

"It is as you say." The voice from before echoed.

After that, only silence can be heard.

"Do you wish to be a part of the new world?" The same voice asked.

Silence permeated the void.

"My desire is to experience life. I wish to experience the very thing that I stand for. Life and the end of it."

"Then so be it. In your place, I'll create another you. This will be a world similar to the first one. Once you return, tell me how it's like to live amongst them." … A black streak of light flew over the horizon. A huge number of eyes gazed at that light. No one knew what it was or where it was headed to.
