The three immortal bogatyrs—Dobrynya, Ilya, and Alyosha—have existed for millennia. Thanks to their military contributions, Kievan Rus easily defeated its enemies and became the sole ruler of The Northern Wastes.

However, not all is good for the empire. Prince Vladimir, faced with a complicated situation, resolves to kill Ilya as a solution.

Ilya is reborn as Kitanda, a sickly peasant son of the Tanuri tribe, somewhere in the African savanna. His memories are gone. His destiny, however, remains unchanged.

This fiction uses characters from Russain folktale but will take place in a different world and timeline. Don't expect accuracy. I only have a very basic knowledge of folktale, and I can't remember history to save my life. Have fun reading!
