Female idols have taken the Japanese music industry by storm, and rookie producer Tanaka Yukio is given the chance to groom a unit of his own. With one catch- his idols are male cross-dressers.

Armed with nothing but tight budgets, fragmented instructions, his virtually non-existent work experience and trusty wits, Yukio must transform his dysfunctional crew into world-class superstars by their very first album or risk the death of his career as a producer.
