After a trip through nothingness, high schooler Will Crawford finds himself awakening in a world of myth and magic. He awakens as a powerful mage on a new world wielding the powers of the arcane. As he navigates his newfound world and his unknown abilities he must deal with the means of his arrival as he was illicitly and accidentally summoned from Earth not to be a hero of the ages, but to be the subservient familiar of a 16-year-old teenager.
