A tourney is taking place in a forgotten city of a decaying kingdom. It will last until the end of the year, as grand heroes and thieves battle their way atop the ladder of this strange competition to have the king's favour. Something's hidden in the dark, waiting for its time to strike, but not many seem to notice. Why do a squire, a beggar and a mage team up?... I know, it sounds like the beginning of a bad joke of some sort, but it's real! And nobody knows: they don't even know each other's motives. All they know is that all three of them need the royals' aid for something clearly very important to them...
