Meet Tasha, an overworked and underpaid game programmer who accidentally transports herself to the magical game-like realm of Etheria. Excited to begin her new adventure, she immediately gets stabbed to death by low level monsters.

Fortunately for her, in Etheria death is a temporary state of being, and when she comes back to life she becomes someone new. She sees the world with new eyes and struggles to come to terms with the new person that she has become.

As she explores this new world astride her new velociraptor friend, she is hounded on all sides by ninjas, pirates, evil queens, prosecuting attorneys, and random encounters.
