The Wanderer came into being on top of a mountain. For a long time he wandered alone talking only to Geoff, the best friend he had in the world now, sadly, confined to The Wanderer's head. Yes, he is confused. A chance, and it must be said, unpleasant encounter drags The Wanderer into a world he'd hoped existed but not in the odd form he encountered.
A tale of the Elder Races of Dunrealm, Elves, Dwarves, Giants but, at least for now, in human form and on a quest to find out where the hell all the people went and what exactly they were supposed to do to make sure they are not the next on the list to do a disappearing act.
Why are they in human form? There is a reason but all will be explained as the Chronicles of the Wanderer unfold.
Classic quests in a modern setting with no humans, a hero who doesn't know his own name and whose proudest achievement was being taller than Tom Cruise but who is the key to the survival of the peoples of Dunrealm and all set in the Lake District of the UK and all with a smattering of humour and plenty of bad language. What could go wrong?
I am intending to publish a chapter every couple of weeks, time permitting of course and would welcome any input from the fantastic community here.
