Maxim Alfonso Jamison Arsanel is just your everyday Philippine student with no redeeming features other than the fact that he has a chance to steal your money even should he be your friend, also that he is a gun nut.

One day, he gets transported to some sort of fantasy plus technology world along with a few others. For a reason, he was elected as their temporary leader (in his eyes) and now they run around a dying city; evading hordes of infected and monsters (and sometimes both) while searching for other sentient life.

Little did he know the said 'Sentient life' are in the same situation as him.
