The Helm of Lentha

Ascension: The Helm of Lentha is the first entry in a story about two people who are given a chance to experience a new world through different circumstances and those they come across. On one hand, there is Rumyan who is an avid video game enthusiast who wishes nothing but to exit the "real" world. On the other there is Aliea who has come to the new world through a more tragic turn of events.

Their new world, the place they call home, is Aslenthya.

In order to get to this new world, the alpha testers must undergo cryogenic suspension while their minds are sent away to a better place. But all is not exactly as it seems as most choose not to read the fine print.

*Author's notes*

I worked on the basic structure for this story about a year ago over the course of a long weekend. I decided that I wanted it to make its debut here on RoyalRoad! This story is written through the eyes of two main characters, and will switch between the two of them from time to time.
