200 years after the first advent of Soul Beasts, the world finally regained its former peace after the sacrifices of countless heroes. The civilization has greatly improved with the help of Soul Stones, Soul Cores, and Soul Cultivation. Soul Devices and Weapons slowly replaced the former technology, helping the human race to achieve greater height compared to the 21st century.

On his 10th Birthday, Randi's Soul Talent was measured and the result turned out that he had no talent in Soul Cultivation. Left without any choice, he chose to embark on a path of Soul Engineers.
