Riku was special, different as compared to the people he grew up with at the orphanage. People around him started to look down on him as he had zero Mana Capacity. They shunned him and bullied him making his life in the Kingdom of Grandeur to be filled with misery. His imagination was what kept him alive as he created in his mind a friend who would be by his side whenever he needed someone to comfort him.
