On a certain day Damon who was five years old at the time was practicing his swordplay. Overlooking him was his father and a close family friend. With smiles present on their faces as they watched the young child working hard to perfect his form. But suddenly the suns warm rays were blocked by dark clouds and in an instant Damon's life turned upside down. The mansion he lived in was attacked and to save Damon, his father perished along everyone else in the mansion. Had it not been for old man Desil perhaps Damon would have perished too. With an unknown future and not knowing awaits will Damon be able to survive in this cruel world? Will Damon be able to survive in a world where 'the strong devour the weak'?
