Aria has more than a mortal should dream of: a job in a god's palace and the lofty - if oversold - title of 'priestess'. Then, she is accused of poisoning a god, and that dream morphs into a nightmare.
Armed with nothing but pure grit, she must save Achi - her alleged victim - escape his vindictive father, and outwit the deities set to benefit from his death. But each step forward brings more despair as she finds herself at the center of a play spanning centuries, playing a role she was made for, a puppet held captive by strings of steel. Escaping her fate could prove impossible.
Especially if she is guilty.
