Eleven years later, the world has suffered the impossible: an alien invasion that has most of humanity dead. Humanity is in desperate straits and during a losing battle, Lt. Jessica Aomori comes into contact with an armored figure who seems to defeat the aliens with ease. Even more so, the figure seems to know her.

In the wake of the "Queen of Knives" incident and forced to reveal the age-old secret she's kept for over a decade by the President of the United States, Jessica has been ordered to uncover the truth. To do so, she will need to face her past, find her former friends and then work to save the world.

Problem is, she has no idea if any of them are still alive. But even if they are, they might be just as unfriendly as the aliens she's at war with...and a happy high-school reunion most certainly isn't in the cards.
