Falsely accused and living in poverty, she is trapped within a social structure that reflects the failures of defunct political regimes. Forgotten by the world that saw her grow, Adria remains hidden in plain sight, evading lethal threats while supporting her grandfather and working endless hours as an underpaid miner. This miserable status keeps going until a rainy afternoon when, while walking her usual route across the concrete city, she hears the desperate screams of a man being tortured and on the brink of his murder, decides to help.
