Alex lives with her brother, Grey, in the Sea, a colony of little tents in the shadow of the castle of the King of Ragdon. Their life is hard but simple, until the night they each come upon a magical necklace. That find sends the siblings on a journey that will take them across the island of Ragdon and might just change the course of history forever.

King Garonda XIV rules the island of Ragdon with an iron fist. He sits on the Amethyst Throne and commands his army of Guard and Soldiers to enforce his reign. But a prophecy states that the King will fall at the hands of the Wolf and the Dove, and the King has no intentions of letting the prophecy play out.
