Aeryth always wanted to be a mage, to have magical powers. Her wish was granted. A power that no one had, the power to control life.

Yet, the price was everything she held dear. A marching army of death knights descended on her village. She survived.

Now, she must adapt to her new life in Lesterforge—a city that challenges her common sense at every step—as she learns about her magic power and tries stands on her own feet.

Aeryth is prepared to do everything in her power to awaken the magic within her and exact revenge on those wretched wanders. But first, she needs money and a way to awaken her power. She won't need to look that far, just around the 'run-of-the-mill' library that she works in.
