In the far future, space travel is done by those who have superior physic abilities, linking from one point of space to another , and send vessels across the galaxy. They are called, The Mindskippers; They are the engine, navigator, and captain all rolled into one. Paul Carver is just one of a handful of such Mindskippers. But as he beings the journey of yet another long voyage to the furthest reach of the galaxy, something touches his mind from the infinite void beyond.
