Margaret lives with an abusive husband in a dead-end job with little prospects in her life. She already resigned herself to her fate, the only light in her world being her young daughter. After a violent argument with her husband, they are transported into another world for a new chance at a peaceful life they've always dreamed of. Until her daughter starts to manifest powers that shake the earth and command respect in the fiercest of beast which lead others to believe she is the next hero their world has been waiting for. But with the legend of the hero being nothing more than propaganda for a series of tragedies committed in the name of the greater good Margaret fights against destiny to be with her daughter again.
