At the edge of human space, the occupants of an unfinished space habitat find themselves in a fight for their lives. With less than fifty security officers, Captain Mori must defend the construction crews against a determined pirate assault. Reinforcements are on the way, but the Vulpine are brutal, cunning, and ruthless viewing the humans as little more than prey.
