The odds are heavily stacked against the Necromancer and Kyle's lineage has enemies with centuries worth of axes to grind. It's enough to make someone give up.

Too bad for his foes, Kyles is no quitter.

- Both hard and soft magical systems.

- Mages who are often both physically and mentally strong.

- Eventual battles (which will be quite brutal, especially starting out)
