In an alternate version of modern Earth, Hugo, a teenage inventor, spends his days trying to uncover his mother's enigmatic legacy. His world turns upside down when he stumbles upon the existence of magic. Caught between battles of secret organizations lurking in the shadows, encountering magical experiments, and facing off against super humans, Hugo struggles to maintain his life as a high school student. And so, the line between his daily life and the supernatural begins to blur.
