In a world where one's soul can be their greatest weapon…

"Aether Nexus: Curse of Hatred" follows the story of a fateful encounter between a young boy, named Dama Jinbia, and a girl, who calls herself Giona, he found unconscious beside a river.

Helping her back to his cabin up in the mountains, Dama spends years caring for Giona while introducing her to the residents of Enohay Valley. As Dama teaches Giona how to read, write, and speak properly, she reveals more and more of her abused childhood at the hands of black hooded figures, all due to her direct ancestor being the most powerful witch in history. Resolving to protect her, Dama reassures Giona that she doesn't need to worry about her past anymore and that she's safe with him, eventually forming a bond that goes as deep as their very souls.

Outside of Enohay Valley however, an enigmatic witch is on a mission to unmask the corruption of the Soul Divination Council, who were not pleased with losing their prized test subject. Along the way, he meets many unique individuals who aid in his quest, some of which follow in his goal—and others who are destined for greatness. These factors together would ultimately set the stage for a war the likes of the Holy Catalyst War eight centuries ago…
