On their way to visit their Martial Arts Master, martial siblings Zhao Xing and Ban Susu are thrust into chaos of a burning ship. Bound by a sense of honor, instilled in them by their Martial Arts Master. Zhao Xing and Ban Susu fought off the onslaught of bandits. Despite their efforts, everyone onboard dies, except a baby. an Axsumite baby at that.

As the child has been left in their care, the martial siblings make their way to their master, seeking advice. However, something happens they didn't expect. A strong a bond grows between them and the child, a bond stronger than the enmity history between Huaxia and Axsum.

Zhao Xing and Ban Susu must ultimately decide whether to defy the prejudices of their society and embrace the child as their own, or turn their backs on her, following a decree from a long deceased Emperor, from four hundred years ago.

This is the start of the Wuxia Progression story I've been working for a long time. There's cultivation elements, but in a wuxia styled story, so no flying swords and immortals.
