Merrick Kandlebern had always thought there were those around him who deserved to join the ranks of the Magical Girls and Guardians, champions of Hope and aided by their familiars and the Transcendents. And never once had they considered themselves to be deserving of their power.

But when one of the worst Inversion Upheaval's in recent times strikes during what was supposed to be a performance their orchestra class was undertaking within a theme park centered around the protectors of humanity themselves, something's going to have to give. Not unless they want what was supposed to be their final performance in orchestra to become their swan song in life.

It's sink or swim, but if there's one thing they're good at, it's swimming. Even if they're already stuck underneath the waves.
