Luke is a 52-year old tinkerer, working as a jack of all trades under the former Lake Washington. Discarded by corporate society, Luke has made his way by navigating the criminal underworld of the former cities of the Pacific Northwest. His life is simple and unassuming, and he has survived by ensuring that he will be useful to all of the criminal and grey-market organizations operating in the Underlake Waste Processing Facility.

That is, until everything changes. When the warriors of Earth fail to detect alien infiltration into the waste facilities for the city, Luke is thrust into the front lines of the conflict. He must do what he can to forge the residents of the Underlake into a force which can fight back, because no one is going to do it for them. No one cares about the Underlake, so the Underlake must fight its own battles.

They are leaving the Underlake to die. But the men and women of the Underlake are used to that kind of treatment, and they will not go quietly into the night without a fight.

Undercity Ronin is a cyberpunk action science fiction story in the Stray Cat Strut universe, as written by Ravensdagger. It can be read separately, but I recommend reading the main storyline first. The story of Undercity Ronin happens concurrently with books one through five of Stray Cat Strut near the former city of Seattle.

This is a fanfiction. Any commercial use or redistribution must be approved by both myself and Ravensdagger. While I am operating from author's notes and intend to keep this story as coherent with the established universe as possible, any novel content within is not to be taken as canon unless Ravensdagger says it is.

This fiction is written as an exercise in developing a following and my writing abilities. It has a planned end, and will be approximately one large book in size. I have two stories planned out to follow, both original creations, so please, if you enjoy my writing, stay tuned for my original worlds!

Release schedule is a soft Sunday / Wednesday / Friday. I aim for three chapters per week, but some weeks will be more, and some will be less. My personal philosophy is that quality is better than quantity when it comes to writing. If inspiration strikes, you'll get more. If I get writer's block, I'm not pushing through until I get it right.
