The young boy Kase is sentenced to death for his "crimes" and must flee the city that has been all he's known. The Wilds will prove to be dangerous, but with peril also comes opportunity. Will he fall to the beasts that lurk in the trees, or will he thrive in his new treacherous environment? Since he's the main character you can pretty easily guess which one it is, but we can pretend.

This is going to be somewhat similar to xianxia and cultivation novels in content and structure, but will not actually feature "cultivation" in full but rather a bastardization of it.
