Sophie Clay, a young wildlife biologist, has been accepted into her dream job tracking polar bears in Alaska. However, it's a long way from home and means saying goodbye to her boyfriend for the next few months. When a spontaneous backpacking goodbye trip takes a turn, she must struggle to survive in the cold Alaskan wilderness. Getting home would be challenging enough with the freak weather and deadly temperatures but worse there's something else out there with her. It's howling echoing on the wind.
