Snow blindness occurs when sunlight reflects off a surface like snow, water or sand. This is a genuine concern for mountaineers challenging the Himalayas. Doubly so for anyone attempting Annapurna, the worlds deadliest mountains. It takes great skill and intuition to make the steep climb.
