Liam's just a humble city guard. He does his job, goes home, and enjoys his time with his wife. His daily drudgery is nothing compared to the glamorous life his closest childhood friend is leading. A mere soldier who had distinguished himself on the battlefield and earned the moniker Sword of Proell for his efforts. An orphan, who through merit alone, had gained the hand of the firstborn Princess. And so, when Liam hears that his friend is leading a force to reinforce the border city they were raised in, he's overjoyed. But their meeting turns sour, an ugly secret rearing its head. Liam is catapulted into a frankly ridiculous situation, hunt down the Disciples of Greenchains; and stop the Archon in Greenchains Khaos from destroying the world. Oh, and the catch? Khaos has made him a Disciple of Greenchains as well.
