A young university student takes a part-time job hatching dragons at a local Eggery. Days into his employment, his life is turned upside by mysterious circumstances and is forced to spend several weeks confined inside a dragon's egg. During which he learns more about his fellow employee, an ex-Ultra Marathoner, and his boss, a reclusive witch obsessed with soda and shapeshifting, and himself.
