Someone suddenly finds themselves in an ethereal plane, with no context as to why they have appeared there. Shortly following this they meet an entity that leads them into taking on the role of a dungeons final boss. The newly made boss by choice, the mc makes it a point to experience this new realm they now live in, all while making sure the dungeon that keeps them here never gets destroyed.

(Full disclosure: I am completely inexperienced with writing, like, entirely new to it. If I make any errors don't hesitate to call me a grammar goblin and correct me.)

This story is one I've thought about for a while. I love dungeon core stories as well as the Isekai trope considering the earth is on fire so I read a lot on royal road for obvious reasons, however I read a story recently that inspired an idea in me. What if someone was born into the role of the only sentient boss enemy in a dungeon? I have some ideas for how this will proceed and I will put the tags that will be inevitable for this story on it ahead of time as I know for a fact that profanity is certain in this story and it would feel too easy to forget about it later.

For those who know what they're talking about, i think, but I am not sure, that this counts as a Lit-RPG? Components of this story will include video-game like functions but i do not plan on focusing on the numbers too hard. As a set difficulty boss character the intent isn't to grind stats, but instead to accomplish goals and interact with the world. There will be levels, systems and some pretty high grade magic types, but it will not be constant.

I don't have any way of making a decent cover so my wonky pixel-art is probably going to stick around for a while. My upload schedule will be sort-of flexible at the moment as I'm not sure how long each chapter will take me on average and I haven't had the chance to set any habits for this so be aware of that, i do however intend to post at least one chapter weekly, hopefully much more frequently.
