In a world turned into a game, Earth has become a dangerous place full of mutants and survivors. Jake, once lucky to be alive, now finds himself transformed into a mutant with retained intelligence. Hated by both survivors and mutants, he is all alone, surrounded by enemies. To survive, Jake must become the apex predator in this new unforgiving world.

Author's note:

Act 1 (Chapters 2-33) follows Jake as a human as he explores the new world and its game-like rules, learning how the system works for regular survivors. He undergoes the transformation in Chapter 33 and remains a mutant throughout the rest of the story. Act 2 begins in Chapter 34 and focuses on Jake learning the unique system of mutant skills and abilities that has been granted to him upon his transformation.
