Emma, a 32 year old computer programmer, is suddenly teleported to a different world, and has to somehow survive the circumstances of her arrival. To whit, she arrives stark naked in the middle of a massive forest without anything on her, without understanding the language spoken by anyone around. At least all the trees look familiar.

While this is an Isekai story, there's not going to be any chosen one with godlike powers in it. Emma has advantages and disadvantages based on her life so far. The disadvantages will be immediately obvious, while the advantages will take a lot longer to bear fruit.

I have some ambitions to make this into an exploration of how the existence of magic would affect an early medieval society, in terms of demographics, economics and warfare. We'll see how well that meshes with having a story that's actually fun to read though.

There's no set schedule for new chapters. I try to write something every day, and release a chapter when I reach a sufficient number of words.
